Govt presents mini budget today, prices of 5000 products likely to go up

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The prices of around 5000 products are expected to increase as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led (PTI) government will present mini budget (Tuesday).The federal government has decided to impose regulatory duties on 150 luxury products and to fix the income tax ratio to the June 30 level is also under consideration in new mini budget.

Chinese General appreciates security being provided to CPEC by Pakistan Army

Pakistan, UK discuss regional security, money laundering

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 17 (DNA) – Ambassador of Japan Takashi Kurai has said as a long-term friend of Pakistan, Japan supports and wishes to contribute further to the development of Pakistan.

In this respect, Japan sincerely hopes that the CPEC projects are to be implemented for the benefit of Pakistan and believes at the same time that for the CPEC to be fully beneficial to Pakistan, they should be based on principles of transparency, economic viability, rule of law, following the international standards.

The Japanese ambassador expressed these views while giving an exclusive interview to DNA.
