Youths, diplomats donate blood at donation camp at Indonesian embassy

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 14 (DNA) – The Indonesian embassy in collaboration with Pakistan Red Crescent Society organized a one-day blood donation camp at the premises of the Indonesian embassy.

Kyrgyz envoy says quadrilateral traffic route an important step

PESHAWAR, SEPT 14 (DNA) – Erik Beishembiev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan participated in the International Conference on «Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Trans-regional Integration» organized by  University of Peshawar and Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS).The conference was held with participation of representatives of the Ministries and Agencies of Pakistan, Ambassadors of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Diplomats from Russian and Iranian Embassies, Experts, Students and Mass Media.

Pakistani think-tank, Kyrgyz institute sign MoU

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 14 (DNA) – The Chairman of the Kyrgyz Association of Women of the Security, Law and Order Sector Prof. Dr. Aydarkul Kaana had a meeting with the President of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) of Pakistan, Major General (retired) Khalid Amir Jaffrey at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Islamabad.A  Memorandum of Understanding between the CGSS and Kyrgyz Association of Women of the Security, Law and Order Sector was signed.According to the signed MoU, it is planned to establish cooperation between two organizations in the field of security, exchange visits, scientific conferences and seminars.

Kazakh ambassador talks about importance of CPEC

PESHAWAR, SEPT 14 (DNA) – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Akan Rakhmetullin participated in the International Conference on “Belt and Road Initiative, China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Trans-Regional Integration” in Peshawar.He shed light on importance of the project.He also underlined significance of of the project for regional integrity.The ambassador also talked about potential of his country in various fields.=DNA

Chinese envoy for enhancing manufacturing capacity of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 13 (DNA) – Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan, Yao Jing  has said both China and Pakistan enjoy time tested friendship and it has been strengthening day by day.

He said that there was a need to enhance the manufacturing capacity of Pakistan and many Chinese companies were willing to come to Pakistan.

Under the CPEC the focus of cooperation between China and Pakistan is mainly in Power, Transportation and Industry sectors.

Ambassador of Qatar leaving Pakistan after completing term

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 13 (DNA) Ambassador of Qatar     Saqr bin Mubarak Al-Mansouri is leaving Pakistan after completing his term.He was appointed Qatar ambassador to Pakistan in January 2015 while he was also accredited to Afghanistan.The Qatar government has also announced his successor who happens to be the brother of the incumbent foreign minister of Qatar.The ambassador is expected to leave Pakistan in a couple of weeks. According to diplomatic sources he is retiring from service.=DNA
